Launched in 2016, DADDY is a digital platform and print magazine that amplifies underrepresented voices in media, putting diversity and inclusion at the forefront of their brand values, operations, and content.
DADDY evolved from a zine and artist collective into a media startup and print magazine, requiring a strong digital and print brand that would amplify their reach.
Co-founders Joe and Kemi
We worked collaboratively with DADDY’s editorial and design team to design a website that reflects the brand’s design guidelines. We performed a complete migration of their site, implementing playful design elements combined with original illustrations and event photography, reflecting the highly creative talents behind the DADDY brand.
Following their design transitions as a fully evolved magazine, we developed a new digital color palette for them, based on the original (CMYK-based) print run by designer Elise Chastel.
The most fun item in the to-do list: Implementing the iconic DADDY 🍆 cursor.
Also... the second most fun item: their iconic 🍔 menu.
