mimosa is an advertising agency in Berlin. We make campaigns and we produce them, which is less common than it sounds. The usual split sends the idea to one company and the execution to another. Somewhere between the two the thing that made the idea good quietly disappears, and what runs is a version everyone has compromised on. We keep both halves, so what we present is what goes live. For Libra by Wolters Kluwer that meant casting no actors at all: every person in the film is a practising lawyer from Germany, Romania, Poland and elsewhere in the EU, playing themselves. Shot in Berlin, extended into a key visual system that localises across languages, and run from station screens to the landing page. We work from Greifswalder Strasse in Prenzlauer Berg, in the Pankow district of Berlin.

Direction, production and post with crews we have worked with for years. Scaled to the budget rather than to the pitch.
Key visuals and adaptation
One system that holds from a station screen to a banner to a landing page, and localises across languages without being redrawn.
Paid social and media
We run the buying on a retainer, and the creative is designed as advertising rather than cropped from a post. Where you have a media partner, we make the work and leave the buying with them.
